"8 in 8" is a new annual tradition for AF. It is a series of late summer fundraisers......all hosted by individuals like you or businesses who make up their event ANY way they want to with each event incorporating the number "8" in some way.
WHY?
To honor the way AF began: A small group of guys hosted an event to raise emergency funds for their friend, Adam.
It was personal; it was fun; it was effective!
PLUS, AF likes to ramp up the creativity in the "dog days" of summer. Who says the month of August is a "dead" month ? We'll even count ideas that get hatched in AUGUST but do not come to completion until the end of September as qualifying as an "8 in 8" event.
AF helps you in any way you need for your event. We provide PR opportunities, AF display materials, special speakers, video materials.
We can even provide AF "8 in 8" invitations, thank you cards, and envelopes to help you look your best. Just tell us how we can help you get started.
These events can be big or small - public or private - raise small amounts or whopping big bucks.
Pass the hat to friends, match a percentage of sales, or charge admission to strangers.
Host it alone or partner up with a local business.
It all works!

Pam & Britta's Garage/Moving Sale - "8 in 8" / COMPLETED!!! Lots of bargains were found in this Aug 27th moving sale. Part of the proceeds was generously donated to AF.
Results = $164 Thanks, gals, for coming up with a NEW "8 in 8" event i!
Massage Raffle - "8 in 8" / COMPLETED!!! (Aug 18 thru Sept 30) Trillium Therapeutics hosted a massage raffle for its existing clients. The prize was a 90- minute massage session ( value $80) Funds raised = $510. Thank you to the clients who supported the AF mission while also taking care of themselves.
"I 8te Gelato" Days - "8 in 8" . COMPLETED!!! Sept 18/ Sept 28 Caffe Prada, in co-ordination with Trillium Therapeutics, hosted an "8 in 8" event on each of these days.
$1 donated by Trillium to AF for EVERY gelato purchased. Results: $91 goes to AF.
